Expedition Care Program Medic

Book Now
Duration: 2 Days
This 2-day advanced course is designed for Doctors, Nurses and Paramedics and uses invasive techniques in remote environments. The course is aimed at familiarising already qualified medics in areas of remote wilderness skills and equipment that they may not have previously encountered in their day to day roles as Urban rather than wilderness medics. We also allow non medics with suitable advanced first aid and Pre Hospital Care training, to attend these courses so that they can assist a medic (under clinical direction of the medic) in a wilderness setting, far from help. Pre-requisites are required for this course. We have previously delivered this course at the Liverpool School for Tropical Medicine.
